Traveling Medical Assistant- Company specializing in disability medical evaluations looking for qualified Traveling Medical Assistant/ Receptionist. This is a Contractor, PRN position- you will be called in as coverage is needed. Pay is $17 hr or $85 day whichever is greater. You will need reliable transportation to be successful in this position. Your role will be to check in/check out patients during veteran exams, conduct initial intake interviews during state exams, take basic vitals as needed, help the medical provider as needed, cleaning between patient exams as well as restocking and maintaining the office. We are looking for coverage for our Montogomery and Birmingham, AL offices. This position is a Contractor/ PRN. You will only be called to one location each day. Our office hours of operation are: 7:30am- 5:00pm M-F- No Weekends Qualifications- Core skills in medical administrative support, patient care, and knowledge of medical terminology- experience in providing patient services and care- Ability to perform intake procedures, including taking vital signs and documenting patient information Job Types: Contract, PRN, Per diem Pay: $17.00 per hour Benefits: On-the-job training Schedule: Monday to Friday Work setting: Office Experience: Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: On the road
