Will provide financial and management support for Residential strategic initiatives to ensure the business unit achieves its goals and objectives. This includes annual budgets, monthly forecasts, strategic planning, new product development and various ad hoc business analysis.Manage the activities of one or more Sr. Financial Analysts, Financial Analysts or Specialists; mentor and develop team members by providing performance improvement guidance, training and development opportunities for skill building; opportunities to build relationships and acquire experiences pertinent to individual and team goalsManage financial assessment and analysis of Residential Business Unit’s on-going initiatives and business results in partnership with Residential Business Unit leadersManager the complete of the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes for the Residential BU; ensure compliance to planning calendar timelines and that department managers have spend forecasts/plans in line with annual budgetOversee and ensure accuracy of all financial results, analyses and forecasts; drive compliance to policies and controls; ensure monthly judgements and estimates are accurately booked/accrued; facilitate purchase order management and cost center budgetingRegularly assess periodic reporting and analysis needs for business performance management; develop and modify the standardized periodic reporting; drive consistency in definition of business/financial terms and metricsManage financial decision support, assist product management with analysis of price/mix, promotions/programs, returns and warranty, other metrics and trendsLead the financial process for New Product Development financials for Residential BU projects of a complex natureProtect Chamberlain’s reputation by keeping information confidentialMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societiesContribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as neededMotivate and lead a high performance team by attracting, developing, engaging and retaining team membersDrive the performance management and compensation processes by communicating job expectations, monitoring and evaluating performance, providing feedback and facilitating employee development per the company’s policiesMaintain transparent communication by appropriately communicating organization information to team through department meetings, one-on-one meetings, appropriate email, IM and regular interpersonal communicationsLead and motivate individuals and teams to create a workplace culture that is consistent with the CGI mission, vision and values.Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance10-15 years in roles financially supporting business units in a consumer durable or manufacturing environment; experience managing a team of financial professionalsKnowledge of ERP system and planning softwareAbility to travel up to 15% within North AmericaPreferred Qualifications:Masters in Business Administration, CMA or CPAExperience with SAP and Business Planning and Consolidations (BPC)Chamberlain Group wants all of its employees to succeed and encourages people of all backgrounds to apply.
