Position: TotalMed has an ongoing need for qualified Certified Medical Assistants to join our Team in the Chicago, IL area!!Shift: We have a variety of shifts and Schedules available.Wage: Based on experience we are offering $20-$23/hour PLUS the Opportunity for Bonuses!!We also currently have a Strong Need forxc2xa0Bi-Lingualxc2xa0Spanish/English Speaking MAs!Overview:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support. Your expertise in patient service, medical administrative support, and clinical duties will contribute to the overall success of our healthcare facility.Duties:- Perform routine clinical tasks under the supervision of healthcare professionals- Assist with patient examinations and procedures- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse- Administer injections and medications as directed by healthcare providers- Prepare patients for laboratory tests and collect specimens- Provide patient education on medical conditions, treatments, and preventive measures- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records- Handle medical administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and coordinating referrals- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality- Assist with coding and billing processesExperience:To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:- Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology- Proficiency in performing vital signs measurements accurately- Excellent patient service skills with a caring and empathetic approach- Familiarity with medical administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing electronic health records (EHR)xc2xa0EPIC Preferred- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting is preferredIf you are a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant looking to make a difference in patients’ lives, we encourage you to apply.
