The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and an ability to work as part of a team of individuals dedicated to the health and well-being of the children of our community. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Greet and prepare patients for their visit Record patients’ vital signs and measurements Prepare rooms for exams Schedule appointments with specialists Assist nursing staff Qualifications should include: Ability to establish a rapport with children and their parents Strong organization skills Ability to document within an Electronic Health Record environment Willingness to learn Certification as a Medical Assistant Job Type: Part-time Expected hours: 6 xe2x80x93 10 per week Medical specialties: Pediatrics Schedule: Weekends only Work setting: In-person Medical office Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred) clinical: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: BLS Certification (Preferred) Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred) Work Location: In person
