The Admissions Representative and Advisor for the Medical Assistant program and CNA course is a part-time, non-benefitted, grant-funded, Professional staff categorized position located at the Main Campus. The position is responsible to coordinate and conduct recruiting and admissions activities to match prospective student needs with the new Medical Assistant program and for expansion of the CNA courses. The Admissions Representative and Advisor for the Medical Assistant program and CNA courses must positively communicate and interact with students, prospective students, parents, the public, faculty, and other staff. The primary duties include create and manage admissions and recruiting processes and products that informs others of the Medical Assistant program and CNA courses, develop and preserve relationships, and implement and ensure compliance with statutes and approved policies and procedures. The position also researches, analyzes, and utilizes a variety complex data including student database information. Strong communication and organization skills are essential to mission success. The Admissions Representative and Advisor for the Medical Assistant program and CNA courses typically works 40 hours per week. The position requires regular travel to include night, overnight, and weekend hours within the Collegexe2x80x99s six-county Service Area, the State of Wyoming, and Rocky Mountain region.Essential Duties: Coordinate activities to maximize effectiveness and utilization of admissions and enrollment resources Analyze data and assess College needs and opportunities Deliver service offerings and advise students/prospective students, faculty, and staff on a variety of admissions and enrollment related issues Develop and monitor admissions/recruiting programs, projects, and/or plans; implement and monitor compliance with approved policies, procedures, and processes Organize recruiting activities on and off campus Actively recruit prospective students Visit high schools, college fairs and other events to distribute information and answer questions Research and analyze a variety of complex data including student database information; summarize findings in oral or written reports Create and maintain internal and external relationships; participate in meetings, committees, task forces, and/or related groups to communicate information regarding admissions/recruiting services Coordinate communication media with high school counselors, prospective students and other agencies Set-up and maintain displays at college fairs, business expos, and high school tournaments Represent Admissions or Enrollment Management on committees, advocacy groups, or related groups Prepare and deliver budget expenditure justifications Provide occasional programming support for Orientation, Welcome Week, and other recruitment and retention related student activities Perform all other duties of a similar nature or level as assigned * About EWC:xe2x80xa2Student success is our first priority; we provide opportunities that enable students to achieve their goals and enrich our unique regionxe2x80xa2An innovative learning environment for academic excellence and community enrichmentxe2x80xa2Small, public, open enrollment community college headquartered in southeast Wyomingxe2x80xa2Main campus is in rural Torrington, WY, a town of 6,500 near the Nebraska border at 4,100 feet elevationxe2x80xa2Douglas campus is in Converse County, a rural town of similar population at 4,800 feet elevation located 50 miles due east of Casper, WYxe2x80xa2Both locations are in the heart of excellent outdoor activity opportunities (fishing, hunting, hiking, climbing, biking, camping, running, etcxe2x80xa6) Required Qualifications:xc2xb7 Associate degree requiredxc2xb7 Two-to-three years progressively responsible work experience in admissions, recruiting, sales, advertising, or administrative services preferredxc2xb7 Demonstrated exceptional interpersonal and public communication skillsxc2xb7 Proven ability to seek-out and communicate with individuals from varied backgroundsxc2xb7 Validated strong computer skillsxc2xb7 Current and valid state-issued Driver License Preferred Qualifications:xc2xb7 Bachelor degree preferredxc2xb7 Three yearsxe2x80x99 full-time work experience in higher education admissions and recruitingxc2xb7 Familiarity with higher education marketing and financial aid Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Wellness program Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Work setting: In-person Experience: EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred) Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: BLS Certification (Preferred) Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Torrington, WY 82240 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Torrington, WY 82240: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
