Travelling Phlebotomist – URGENTLY NEEDED Lab Express Corporation PHLEBOTOMISTS (Chicagoland Area ) An established company providing laboratory services to the healthcare industry is currently hiring experienced mobile phlebotomists to work in the Chicagoland area. Possess at least one year of recent blood-drawing experience in a lab or hospital setting, doing at least 50-60 draws per day. A reliable car with valid insurance is also necessary to fulfill this job. Must have a phlebotomy or MA certification, successfully drawn geriatric patients and good with hard sticks. Must be responsible to handle multiple patient appointments and has the ability to communicate status of work assignments. Individuals with both phlebotomy and medical assistant with phlebotomy background or experience are encouraged to apply.Candidates should be available early morning until noon, and some afternoon, Monday through Friday and some Saturdays. Experienced travelling phlebotomists are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include: 1. Collect specimens and label them accurately, and on time . 2. Collect specimens according to established procedures. 3. Greet patients respectfully and treat them in a courteous manner. 4. Keeps work area neat and clean. Dispose of biohazard into proper containers. 5. Must be flexible and available based on staffing requirements; on call to transition to regular. 6. Must have excellent phlebotomy skills. Multiple pokes not allowed. 7. Must be willing to drive all over Chicagoland. Please do not respond if you are not willing to travel or not able to meet the above requirements.
