Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/.In this role, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership by partnering with the R&D (i.e., Product Development) and Global Strategic Management Organizations. As the go-to finance contact for leadership and their teams, you will play a key role in driving portfolio decisions, managing investments, and leading ad hoc analyses.Key Responsibilities Include:Collaborating with cross-functional partners to build and maintain comprehensive NPV modeling for current and potential R&D projectsInforming resource allocation decisions to maximize the short- and long-term portfolio valueManaging all aspects of the functional budgets of Product Development and Global Strategic Management functions through budget cycles and quarterly close processes Supporting ongoing cost improvement processes and partner with R&D and Supply Chain counterparts to positively impact profitabilityCollaborate with OUS regional leads to enhance of financial reporting (Sales & Gross Profit). Providing financial guidance and support through ad hoc exercisesQualificationsA minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required; with a major in Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics or Finance is preferred.A minimum of 3 years of finance, accounting, or related business experience is requiredStrong analytical and modeling skills are requiredExcellent communication and interpersonal skills are requiredStrong strategic thinking & intellectual curiosity is requiredCPA, CMA, or other financial certifications is preferredExperience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or consumer health industry is preferredThis position is located in Irvine CA, with occasional travel up to 5% may be requiredThe base pay range for this position is $76,000 – $121,900The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year.
