Senior Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions.Senior Accountant responsibilities include reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger, and preparing month-end close procedures. A successful Senior Accountant combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts. The ideal candidate has also experience collaborating and/or managing Junior Accountants.Responsibilities:Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivableReconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balancesSupporting month-end and year-end closePreparing financial statements, journal entries, and account reconciliationsAssessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areasAssisting with budget preparation and preparing the monthly budget variance analysesMaintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedulesMonitoring Periodic Inventory CountCreate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess financial performance.
