Part-Time Travel Medical Assistant Prospective podiatry, nursing or medical students welcome! We are looking for an outgoing, intelligent individual who likes working with people. You will spend most of your time assisting the Dr. in seeing patients at state of the art Assisted Living Facilities. Required: Monday 10:00am-9:00pm, Thursday 12:00am-4:00pm, Friday 10:30am-4:30pm Must be comfortable working/interacting with patients in both an Office and Assisted Living Facility setting (prior medical experience a plus) Must have your own car (gas reimbursement) Must have a high school diploma; college a plus Must be computer savvy with good people skills and good at multi-tasking Basic Duties: Producing patient lists for multiple facilities due for treatment every week Must be comfortable on the phone communicating with patients (making/confirming appointments), other Dr.’s, Facilities, etc. Salary $19 and up depending on experience Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $19.00 per hour Benefits: Travel reimbursement Medical specialties: Podiatry Schedule: 10 hour shift 8 hour shift Day shift Evening shift Work setting: Nursing home Private practice Application Question(s): Driver’s License/Car Education: Associate (Preferred) Experience: EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred) Vital signs: 2 years (Preferred) License/Certification: Driver’s License (Required) Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred) Willingness to travel: 75% (Required) Work Location: On the road
