Job Description:DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTIONThe Hematology & Oncology teams at Samaritan Health Services specialize in diagnosing and treating adult cancer patients using chemotherapy, hormonal therapy and biological therapy as well as treating a range of hematologic conditions. We educate patients about their illness, the treatment options and provide supportive care during treatment and into survivorship.EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONSRegistered or Certified Medical Assistant (RMA or CMA) required upon submission.Healthcare Provider AHA BLS required upon submission.Previous medical back office experience/medical assistant training, or completion of a MA/CMA program preferred.Experience in applicable specialty area preferred.Lab/EKG experience preferred.Position Urgency:NormalShifts:Days (0800-1630) no weekendsState License Details:Must Be Currently ActiveMinimum Years of Experience:1Minimum Guaranteed Hours:40Specialty Type:NursingSub Specialty:Medical AssistantGeneral Certifications:BLS/BCLSBilingual:NoEMR Used:EPICHoliday Coverage Required:Yes
