Sentara Health is currently recruiting for a Full-Time day shift, Medical Assistant-Outreach. This position is remote in Norfolk, VA. Perform patient care and administrative/clerical related tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, and as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of the Manager, Market & Development Outreach, Government Programs. Job Requirements High School Grad or Equivalent Certified Medical Assistant, Registered Medical Assistant or certified EMT-B required Minimum of 1 year in Healthcare Setting OR EMT, Paramedic, and/or Corpsman experience 1 year preferred Phlebotomy experience preferred, plus experience with electronic medical records BLS is required within 90 days of hire.
