**Quick Start** Urgent need for a Medical Assistant (MA) for one of our client which is a Clinic. Job Location: Minneapolis, MN 55402 Shift: 7:45A – 4:15P Duration of Contract: 13 weeks Shift Notes: (40 Hour Guarantee ) Monday through Friday Minimum years of experience: 1 year Pay rate: $28/hr Job id: MEDQ- 4146 Job Description: Performs patient and family education, counseling, and teaching. Brings patient into exam room, obtains brief history of complaints, prepares patient for exam and takes vital sign. Performs clerical work consisting of, referrals, scheduling appointments with other physicians and facilities, filling out forms, and answering phones. Assists physician with exam and procedures as needed. Stock rooms, takes care of instruments and autoclaves equipment. Assists in the orientation of personnel, with emphasis on nursing aspects.
