Pay Rate Range: $20-$21/Hour Medical Assistant (MA) We are hiring Medical Assistants (MA) for a Health Center that is dedicated to providing quality healthcare to undeserved community members in Culver City. Be flexible to schedule changes and work on Saturday Key Responsibilities: Ability to work independently, yet know when to ask questions. Ability to perform vitals (BP, respiration, pulse, temperature, EKG, venipuncture, ear lavage) In preparation for scheduled patients, anticipate and procure relevant documents and data for the provider (i.e., consultation reports from specialists.) Communicates all significant clinical findings to the provider Must be a team player with a sense of purpose and fun. Requirements Must have 2-years of experience as an MA Must have High School Diploma or GED Must have certificate of completion from an accredited Medical Assistant training program. Experience in Customer Service Experience working with computers and entering data quickly and accurately. Effective verbal and written communication skills; strong computer skills desirable. Self-motivated, flexible and a team player.
