Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant or LPN to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant or LPN, you will provide essential support to healthcare professionals and ensure the smooth operation of our medical facility. This is a full-time position with competitive pay. Responsibilities:- Perform medical administrative support tasks, including scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and managing insurance documentation.- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology to accurately document patient information and communicate with healthcare providers.- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.- Assist healthcare professionals with procedures, examinations, and treatments.- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers.- Possess knowledge of anatomy to assist with patient positioning and preparation for procedures.- Provide basic life support in emergency situations until further medical assistance is available.- Ensure excellent patient service by addressing inquiries, providing information, and maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.- Assist with X-ray procedures under the supervision of a licensed radiologist. Experience:- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or LPN or in a similar role is preferred but not required.- Proficiency in medical administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.- Familiarity with medical terminology and coding systems.- Knowledge of medication administration procedures.- Understanding of human anatomy and its relevance to medical procedures.- Basic life support certification is desirable.
