Medical Assistant/LPN

We are a busy family practice office seeking a high energy, ambitious individual to assist our providers with their patient workload. The right candidate will thrive on workday flexibility, team-oriented mentality, and passion for superb patient care. RESPONSIBILITIES: Greet patients on arrival, take vital signs, review medications and allergy list, and document appropriately. Assist providers as needed with procedures, perform EKG’s, administer immunizations and phlebotomy. Process prescription refills, relay lab results within scope of practice, and return patient phone calls. You will also swab for COVID-19, process COVID-19 specimens, and administer COVID-19 vaccinations. Cross coverage as a part of our Clinical Support Team (call center). The Clinical Support Team is responsible for all incoming calls. They provide our patients with fast, efficient, and professional assistance scheduling appointments, processing prescription refills, and relaying lab results. QUALIFICATIONS: Current CMA certificate or LPN License is preferred. Medication Aide preferred, but not required to be eligible for hire. Will assist the right candidate in obtaining Medication Aide licensure, as required by the State of Nebraska. Minimum 1yr experience in a clinic setting is preferred.
