BeeperMD Primary and Urgent Care Clinic located in Boca Raton, FL is currently seeking qualified and experienced Medical Assistants (CMAs) to join our team. Duties include but are not limited to: Report to the clinic daily and provide quality care services Serve as both the Medical Receptionist and Medical Assistant Welcome patients and visitors in person or on the phone Serve patients by greeting and helping them Scheduling appointments (new and existing pts) Maintain records and accounts Answering or referring inquiries Optimizing provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient scheduling Notify providers of patient arrivals Verifying patient insurance and collecting payments Maintaining office inventory and equipment, keeping the front area clean and organized at all times Work with the Clinic staff to optimize the clinic and patient satisfaction Perform Medical Assistant duties; room prep, pts vitals, administering point of care testing, drawing labs, handling lab samples, wound care, IVs, EKGs, basic X-rays, etc. Assist Providers with in-office procedures Licenses/Certification (Required): Medical Assistant Certification (Required) Phlebotomy Certification (preferred) IV Certification (preferred) X-Ray Tech License (preferred) Minimum of 2 years experience at a healthcare facility as a medical assistant role Working knowledge of medical terminology, HIPAA regulations, ICD, and CPT coding EMR experience Innovating thinker with problem-solving skills Excellent documentation, communication, and IT skills Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task Active Driver’s License Must pass a background check The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a highly professional constantly changing environment. Candidate must be efficient working alone and in a group setting, reliable, and self-starter. Job Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, Weekends only Clinic operates Monday-Sunday, 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM Based on education and experience.
