Responsibilities: Greet and prepare patients for examinations in various healthcare settings Record patient vitals and medical history accurately Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures on the go Perform specimen collection and basic laboratory tests as needed Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers Assist with medical procedures and minor surgeries during travel assignments Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms in different facilities Ensure patient comfort and safety at all times during travel assignments Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and updating medical records on the move Provide excellent customer service and support to patients and healthcare teams during travel assignments Requirements: MA Diploma must be from a program that meets accreditation standards from either CAAHEP or ABHES Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification Preferred BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in multiple healthcare settings preferred Flexibility and adaptability to work in different healthcare environments Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently while traveling Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork Job Type: Contract Pay: $22.00 – $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Medical specialties: Primary Care Urgent Care Schedule: 5×8 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Work setting: Clinic In-person Experience: Medical Assistant: 1 year (Required) Patient care: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: BLS Certification (Required) Ability to Commute: Maple Grove, MN 55369 (Required) Work Location: In person
