Helping physician or a NP in patinet care, receiving patinet, copayment, checking in, preparing patient, putting information in EMR. Responsibilities Interview patients and document basic medical history Organize and schedule appointments Update and file medical records and insurance reports Check with patients and type up patients charts Assist during medical examination. Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments Skills Proven working experience as a medical assistant or medical secretary Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Social perceptiveness and service-oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills Reliable and organiz Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 – $22.00 per hour Medical specialties: Addiction Medicine Internal Medicine Primary Care Schedule: 8 hour shift Work setting: In-person Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred) Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred) Work Location: In person
