Build authorizations, call providers, very computer literate Duties:“`- Assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care in a hospital setting- Administer medications and perform medication reconciliation- Perform basic life support procedures when necessary- Assist with medical procedures such as X-rays and inhalation therapy- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records- Educate patients on medical conditions, treatments, and medications- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and equipment “`Qualifications:“`- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent training- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology- Experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively- Proficiency in basic life support techniques- Familiarity with electronic health record systems Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
