Position Overview:We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate bilingual medical assistant to support our clinical team in delivering exceptional care to our patients. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care and satisfaction. Responsibilities: Assist physicians and nurses with patient care activities, including rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, and preparing patients for examinations. Perform routine administrative tasks, such as maintaining medical records, scheduling appointments, and managing patient inquiries. Perform basic clinical procedures as delegated by a physician, in particular, administering vaccines and obtaining nasal swab and blood draw labs. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers, ensuring clear and accurate information exchange. Prepare and administer medications as directed by healthcare providers, following established protocols and guidelines. Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures, such as specimen collection and processing, under the supervision of licensed medical personnel. Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited medical assistant program preferred. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred. Previous experience working in a medical setting preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and protocols. Ability to multitask, prioritize duties, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills and experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems preferred. Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred but not required.
