Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 100 pounds. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours. Requires exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids. Skills/Responsibilities: Be a TEAM PLAYER!! Love people and want to spend a good majority of your time helping them!! Want to learn new skills and be part of a growing dermatology office that offers great benefits Ability to communicate with patients, providers and other team members on a regular basis Proficiently work on a PC and IPAD Open and close down medical exam rooms each day Greet patients, update medical history, obtain information as to the purpose of the visit Follow the providers into patient exam rooms, maintain timely flow of patients Scribe for providers as required Write prescriptions under the supervision of providers Assist with procedures and skin surgeries, preparing instruments as needed Ability to educate patients Ability to anticipate problems before they happen and efficiently handle them when they arise Desires to be a part of something larger than themselves Willing to do heavy lifting, clean what needs cleaned, hold doors etc.xe2x80xa6WHATEVER it takes to get the right thing done and done right!!
