This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive program, subject to the rule governing the program.xc2xa0xc2xa0Position Summary:xc2xa0Incumbent will utilize financial planning and analysis skills to support all Finance Department operations. Incumbent will have primary responsibility for financial planning functions, analysis and preparation of accounts, budgetary forecasting and provision of accounting information, project work and analytical assignments to support day to day business operations.Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:Prepare financial/operational reports and ad hoc financial analysisCollect, analyze and interpret data, quantifying financial opportunity and risk, and communicating the optimal business decisions/actionsPerformxc2xa0root cause analysis and partner with divisional leadership and other functional areas to drive proactive solutions through process and technology solutionsDevelopxc2xa0financial analysis tools to assist in management decisionsLeadxc2xa0and/or participate in business initiatives and special projectsSupportxc2xa0development of annual business plans and quarterly forecastsSupportxc2xa0Sales function with developing both short term and long term volume forecasting modelsSupportxc2xa0Operations function with analyzing KPIs for additional opportunities to eliminate waste in standard processesSupport the development of annual operating plans, divisional budgets and corporate budgetsParticipatexc2xa0in process improvement projects throughout the organizationLeadxc2xa0and/or participate in other business initiativesSupport entire organization in utilization/improvement of Cognos and otherxc2xa0Business Intelligence toolsSupport Management Team in assessing credit risk associated with major customersEnhance and/or develop new financial models to improve existing financial plans or decision analysesCreate and foster an environment that maximizes individual potential and values collective resultsAccountable for developing and sustaining a culture of customer service excellenceTravel requirements of at least 25% to provide on-site support to division locationsOther projects or duties as assignedRequired Skills and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance2 to 4 years’ experience in finance and accounting with similar progressive responsibilitiesAdvanced skills in the use of MS ExcelExperience with Cognos or other Business Intelligence toolsAbility to interact and communicate effectively with personnel at all levelsxc2xa0within the organization to obtain, discuss, and analyze information andxc2xa0processBusiness acumen with analytical/problem solving skillsAbility to work with large amounts of computer dataAbility to take ownership and be accountable for issue resolution and general client satisfactionMust present a highly professional image and attitudeHighlyxc2xa0organized, detail orientated and capable of multi-taskingSelf-motivated individual with great initiative and ability to work independentlyStrong work ethic and the ability to meet deadlinesStrong analytical skills and attention to detail and ability to understand,xc2xa0develop and refine processesThis position must pass a post-offer background and drug testPreferred Skills and Experience:Certifiedxc2xa0Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA)Experience working in the distribution or manufacturing industryBeverage distribution experienceProficient in other Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)Experience working in the distribution industryExperience with Six Sigma or other Lean Manufacturing conceptsExperience with budgeting and financial reporting softwarePhysical Demands and Work Environment:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.xc2xa0 Due to the nature of our business in regard to such things as delivery schedules, order inputs, selection, and Department of Transportation Hours of Service, overtime, attendance and punctuality are essential job functions.xc2xa0 Should an individual in this classification not be able to adhere to this requirement due to a disability, they should contact their Human Resources department to see what, if any, reasonable accommodation may be made.
