We consider a number of factors when making individual compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, and other business needs. xe2x80xafThis role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive program, subject to the rule governing the program.xe2x80xafxc2xa0Position Summary:xc2xa0xc2xa0The Finance and Commercial Manager is a member of the Category Management team primarily responsible for supporting the Vice President of Category Management.xc2xa0This position utilizes strong accounting, financial reporting, and analytical skills to support the Category Management business.xc2xa0 xc2xa0Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:xc2xa0Partner with the business in the development and administration of departmentxe2x80x99s annual budget and quarterly forecastingCreate and deliver timely and accurate accounting and reporting. Prepare internal financial management reports, operational results, customer and item profitability analysis, and provide decision supportDevelop and support process improvements and ensure proper internal controlsMaintain business cost centers and validate inputs into correct cost centers for expenses and savings projectsDevelop pricing strategy and item pricing process to provide price updates to Master Data Management teamManage pricing for items across customers and resolve any pricing issues with help from Category Management teamPrepare and communicate pricing based on supplier and customer contractsFollow up on any outstanding customer invoicing and pricing issuesHelp resolve vendor payment issues and approve vendor invoices for supply chain servicesCollect data from global locations periodically to generate reports and facilitate Category ManagersTrack item level inventory across locations to assess cost of capital and storage for product costingCollect various cost components from freight, warehousing, and suppliers to update the inventory costs. Work with Risk Management team to update inventory valuation across locationsMonitor commodity and forex changes to evaluate price adjustments across product portfolioAdjust item pricing based on index and other cost drivers and communicate pricing to the Master Data Management team in a timely mannerOther projects or duties as assignedRequired Skills and Experience:xc2xa0Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in accounting or finance or another related field, with a minimum of 6 years of accounting and/or financial analysis management experienceGeneral knowledge of finance, US GAAP accounting, budgeting, and cost control principlesBroad skillset in financial analysis and financial modeling, including an understanding of a P&L, balance sheet, working capital, and other related financial informationAbility to create senior management level presentations and analysesStrong business acumen and experience partnering with business leadersExpert in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of the other Microsoft Office 365 applicationsExcellent communication & interpersonal skills, exceptional problem-solving skillsStrong organization and time management skillsExperience leading, managing & influencing others at all levels within an organizationAbility to work collaboratively and cross-functionallyAbility to quickly learn and understand new conceptsAbility to understand, develop and refine processesAbility to function effectively under pressure, multi-task, and be a self-starterLimited travel as necessary (10%)This position must pass a post-offer background and drug testPreferred Skills and Experience:xc2xa0Experience in Supply Chain areas in Food Services, Consumer Packaged Goods or ManufacturingMBA (Finance), CPA, or CMA preferredExperience with JD Edwards 9.2 ERP, Microsoft PowerBI, OneStreamPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.xc2xa0 Due to the nature of our business in regard to such things as delivery schedules, order inputs, selection, and Department of Transportation Hours of Service, overtime, attendance and punctuality are essential job functions.xc2xa0 Should an individual in this classification not be able to adhere to this requirement due to a disability, they should contact their Human Resources department to see what, if any, reasonable accommodation may be made.
