Details: The Medical Assistant (MA) provides routine care for patients who present to New Horizon Family Health Services. The Medical Assistant aids the Nursing Personnel and Providers as necessary. Experience and Skills: Education: Completion of a Medical Assistant Program. Licensure/Certification: Must be a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant as required by South Carolina Laws. Must be BLS CPR certified. Knowledge and Skills: One year or more experience in medical office based patient care setting Must have a working knowledge of computer programs and electronic health records Must demonstrate legible handwriting and excellent spelling.
