CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT – RESIDENCY CLINIC

POSITION SUMMARY This position works closely with physicians, mid-level providers, and nurses in a team setting to deliver high quality patient care in an efficient and effective manner. A strong work ethic, with the ability to multi-task and function in a fast-moving work environment are essential functions of this job. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum Experience N/A Required Registration/License/Certification BLS certification within 90 days of date of hire or transfer. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) from the National Healthcareer Association (NHA), or National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) from National Center for Competency Training (NCCT), or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from the American Medical Technologists (AMT). Preferred Education N/A Preferred Experience One year working in a healthcare related field.
