Saint Francis Healthcare, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking experienced Medical Assistants to join the team at our OB/GYN Practice! This person will assist in direct patient care under supervision of physician. Responsibilities include: Assist physician during all exams and office procedures. Accurately obtain patient vitals, phlebotomy and document pertinent medical history. Prepare/process/log all specimens for routing to appropriate lab. Responsible for daily maintenance of test results, quality control, and sample medication logs. Maintain and manage the use of all clinical equipment. Prepare instruments for transfer to sterile processing department. Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required Certificate of Completion of Medical Assistant Program xe2x80x93 Certified MA required or must obtain within 90 days of hire.
