Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program, that includes an externship in a medical office clinical setting, required. Curriculum must include pharmacology and medication administration. (Certificate must be obtained within six months of hire). Certifications accepted: CMA xe2x80x93 American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) CCMA xe2x80x93 National Health career Association (NHA) RMA xe2x80x93 American Medical Technologists (AMT) RMA xe2x80x93 American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA) RMA – National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) RMA – National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP) Experience: Previous work in a medical setting preferred. Licensure/certification/registration: CMA, CCMA, RMA. Refer to Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096. Annual UAP agreement with provider required. Additional skills required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing. LPN: Education: High school diploma required. Experience: One year of relevant experience preferred. Licensure/certification/registration: Appropriate state LPN license required. Refer to Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096. Additional skills required: Computer skills, phone call etiquette, organizational skills.
