Their strategic involvement has helped EHE reach new heights as a pioneering force in preventive care.What we’re looking for:We’re looking for a talented and driven per diem Certified Medical Assistant to join our Chicago clinic to cover our Friday and/or Saturday shifts, with the potential of providing coverage on other days during the week. Our Chicago Clinic hours of operations are 7:00am – 3:00pm. This position will provide required support to physicians and other staff members in performing physical examinations and other procedures. In this role, you will:Perform Electrocardiogram’s (EKG’s), Pulmonary Function Test’s (PFT’s), and other medical screeningsDraw blood – phlebotomy experience is a mustMeasure vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight and height)Record information on patients’ chartsPrepares treatment rooms for examination of patientsWhat the role requires:Graduated from an accredited allied health schoolCertification as required by the state of IllinoisMust be a current member of the AAMA, AMT, NHA or NCCT Two or more years’ experience in the medical fieldExcellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsWorking knowledge of MS Office and Web-based applicationsGI experience a plusPractices a preventive health lifestyleWhat we offer:Competitive salaryEmployee access to our preventative exam and servicesThe rate for this role is $20 – $24 per hour and is determined by a number of factors including the candidate’s experience, qualifications and skills.
