Job Description: Check patients in , room patients, assess vitals, thorough interviewing/screening, charting patients information Proper documentation in electronic medical records Starting IVs, obtaining consent, and helping with recovery after procedures Answer patient phone calls, work with physicians with patient care, fit patients for medical devices, refill medications Obtain Prior Authorizations , cross train within the office, must be a team player and a positive upbeat person that loves working with patients . Qualifications: -Certified Medical Assistant -The right individual should be detail oriented, a self-starter, and have strong communication skills -They should be able to multi-task and embrace responsibility and accountability. -Must have effective communication skills in English -Must be friendly and care xe2x80x93oriented -Project management skills may be necessary to perform certain job functions such as scheduling -Efficient in data entry with no errors -Upbeat, Outgoing, Team Player -Knowledge of Eclinical Works is a plus (ECW) Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: Monday to Friday Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred) Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: BLS Certification (Preferred) Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred) Work Location: Multiple locations
