The Allergy, Asthma & Sinus Center is looking for an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to work in our Gainesville office. Duties include but are not limited to: record vital signs of patients and obtain medical history assist the physician and/or nurse practitioner as needed perform skin testing administer allergy injections handle phone nursing when appropriate, including triaging, calling in prescriptions, etc. .maintain stocked, neat and clean exam rooms and common work areas daily adhere to established practice policies and procedures and follow state and federal regulations maintain strictest confidentiality, both internally and externally perform all other duties assigned by supervisor, physician or management team Experience with electronic medical records system required.
