Responsibilities: Provide professional clinical services for patients following established practice standards and clinical protocols. Room patients and obtain vital signs. Assist provider with patient examination, treatment and minor surgical procedures. May perform specimen collection, phlebotomy and specimen analysis. Medication and/or vaccine administration. Care Coordination via medication refills, prior authorizations and referral scheduling. Test result management and tracking as determined by provider. Return patient calls and inquiries via phone or patient portal. Qualifications: Aside from building relationships, exceeding patient expectations and having fun while you work, the following apply: Current Certification as a Medical Assistant. High school diploma. BLS and Mandatory Reporter certification. Knowledge of clinical skill techniques, procedures, medical diagnoses, and treatments. Effective communication skills (written and verbal). A positive and team-oriented attitude. Ability to assist providers in professional manner. #upc123
