Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Medical Assistant full-time on-site at a busy medical practice working five days a week. Great benefits in a nice atmosphere in South Fort Myers. Salary commensurate with experience. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: xc2xb7 Rooming patients and taking vitals xc2xb7 Verifies clinical lab test orders and brings discrepancies to the attention of the appropriate clinical staff xc2xb7 Reviewing charts and document medical history xc2xb7 Assisting the providers with procedures when needed xc2xb7 Cleans and sanitize clinic rooms as required xc2xb7 Handles patient portal messages and phone calls xc2xb7 Coordinating communications between patient and or their caregivers xc2xb7 Restock clinic rooms with appropriate patient education literature xc2xb7 Other duties as assigned by management Qualifications: Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred) BLS Certified Knowledge and understanding of medical terminology Experience preferred but new grads encouraged to apply Benefits Include but are not limited to: 100 % Paid Health Insurance, 401k, Dental, Vision, PTO, Paid Holidays, Short Term Disability Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Medical specialties: Pain Medicine Schedule: Monday to Friday Work setting: Clinic In-person Education: High school or equivalent (Required) License/Certification: BLS Certification (Required) Certified Medical Assistant (Required) Work Location: In person
