Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Advanced Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology is fast-growing medical practice looking for medical assistants to join our team of dedicated, caring, medical professionals. We specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of allergic and immunologic disorders affecting both children and adults. Our Allergist/Immunologists diagnose and treat the full spectrum of allergic and immunodeficiency disorders, including but not limited to asthma, allergic rhinitis, food allergies, chronic sinusitis, venom allergies, drug reactions, eczema, hives, primary immunodeficiency, and latex allergies. We offer an array of services including skin testing, immunotherapy, asthma evaluations (including spirometry) and treatments – including biologic therapy. The ideal candidate will work well in a team environment, be focused on patient care, and be able to: Collect vital signs Collect, document, process and verify information in an EHR system Perform diagnostic tests, processes, and enter results Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to communicate effectively on the phone, in writing, and via email Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality Develop rapport Maintain positive, professional relationships with patients, staff, and physicians Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 – $26.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40 per week Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Vision insurance Medical specialties: Allergy & Immunology Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Work setting: Clinic In-person License/Certification: BLS Certification (Preferred) Certified Medical Assistant (Required) Work Location: In person
