Pediatric Heart Care is seeking a Medical Assistant to join the growing practice and be an integral part of the clinic. Description Duties & Responsibilities: Schedule Patients for Visit and Procedures Checking In / Out Patients Collect payments Make appointment calls Answering Phone Lines Provide Accurate and Complete Information to Billing Office Insurance Verification Ensure Accuracy of Patient Data Entered Into System Process Requests and Filing of Patient Records Other clinical tasks assigned by manager Patient vitals Once a week coverage to Baytown clinic. Remaining days in Beaumont Clinic. Requirements Be able to travel independently for Baytown outreach clinics. Once a week coverage to Baytown clinic. Remaining days in Beaumont Clinic. MUST HAVE experience of working at a medical office in the past 1 year. Spanish speaking is a PLUS but not mandatory. At least 1-4 Years Experience in Medical Office Setting or Hospital. Strong Customer Service and Computer Skills. Ability to Multi-Task. Medical Terminology Knowledge. Medical Assistant Certification a Plus.
