About us Snead Eye Group, a leading Florida Ophthalmology practice with surgery centers in Fort Myers and Naples, is seeking additional Team members to support our growing demand for eye care. We provide patients with advanced technology Cataract Surgery, Oculoplastics and cosmetic facial surgery. We have locations in Fort Myers, Bonita Springs, Cape Coral and Naples and are opening new locations soon. Our team is dedicated to a premiere patient experience and we are looking for Team members that exemplify customer service and attention to detail to ensure all our patients receive a remarkable experience. We are seeking a health care professional who is responsible for basic patient care and assistance during the surgical visit and at the patients bedside. The schedule for this position is Monday in Naples and Wednesday in Fort Myers. There is a strong possibility for additional hours dedicated to clerical work for the remainder of the week. Responsibilities: Escorts patients between waiting and preoperative areas. Assists patient by assisting them to getting into wheelchair. Cleans stretchers and makes stretchers up for next patient Assists with Medical Records organization, review and audit. May apply monitors to patients (BP cuff, pulse oximeter and EKG leads, take temperature) under the watchful eye of the nurse. May chart on the Holding/PACU Record. May administer eye drops under the supervision of the Holding/PACU RN, and the surgeon. May take vital signs and chart them in PACU. Verifies patient information. Assist front desk personnel by answering phones, assembling charts, scanning, & copying.
