Lake Vista Pediatrics has been in service since 1984 and we are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! We are looking for a full-time team member that can work some Saturday mornings. You will be expected to perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the clinic running smoothly.Responsibilities:Handle all administrative duties in a timely mannerPerform routine clinical tasks to support our medical staffCommunicate with insurance companies for proper proceduresGather and maintain patient histories and vitalsEscort patients to exam roomsAdminister immunizationsPerform routine blood draws on newborns, children and young adolescentsxe2x80x8bQualifications:Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fieldsFamiliarity with pediatric proceduresFamiliarity with EHR systems (will train)Strong organizational skillsAttention to detailExcellent phone etiquette skills with awareness of HIPPA complianceWillingness to work with others as a team
