Position Summary: The CMA will provide high level patient care in a specialty physician office setting by measuring and recording vital signs, placing patients in exam rooms, reviewing medical history, preparing patients for exams/procedures, quality chart documentation, stocking exam rooms, and assist in ensuring medication refills and DME supply forms are completed. The CMA will also provide patient care by administering medications, processing patient phone calls per practice protocols, instructing patients regarding health care and treatments, and providing health care provider with information pertaining to patients’ health status. Must have reliable transportation. Sign on bonus after one year of employment. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Current CMA certification in good standing. One year of ambulatory/office care. EMR experience. Knowledge of ICD 10 and CPT codes is preferred. The CMA should display compassion, initiative, have the ability to multitask and manage large patient volumes while providing outstanding patient/customer service.
