CMA needed for a rewarding role in Family Practice PhyNet Family Clinics has an immediate opening for a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) in our Linden Family Clinic. Your primary role as a CMA will be to assist the Primary Care Doctors and Family Nurse Practitioners with the patient visits in the clinic. Opportunity for advancement for the right candidate. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and willing to learn various on-going advances in technology, plus processes and procedure protocols required to fulfill orders from multiple providers practicing at the same primary care clinic. PRIMARY DUTIES INCLUDE: (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO) Phlebotomy Capturing vitals and assisting with establishing basic baselines. Manage drug screens, urinalysis, and other in-house lab tests including charting and notification of results as directed by the clinician. Charting in the electronic health record Making patient follow-up calls as directed by the clinician. EXPERIENCE: 2+ years of clinical experience in a patient care setting Experience using an EHR system (eClinicalWorks is EMR used at PhyNet Health System). EDUCATION: A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
