Refer to the Life Support Training Policy for additional details.Licensure: Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) credentials or must be obtained within 6 months of date of hire through a recognized national professional association such as: AAMA (American Association of Medical Assistants) AMT (American Medical Technologists)xc2xa0 ARMA (American Registry of Medical Assistants) NAHP (The National Association of Healthcare Professions) NHA (National Healthcare Association)Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing.Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: N/Axc2xa0PHYSICAL DEMANDSPhysical Demand Code: 17A, Medical Technician, Other TechsWork Function/Activity: Medium to Heavy Physical DemandThe job requires constant sitting, standing, walking, and bending/stooping. For any weight over 35 lbs. use Safe Handling Equipment.
