Description:Certified Medical AssistantsVenesco LLC is hiring five Certified Medical Assistants to support military members and their families at A.T. Augusta Military Center in Fort Belvoir, VA.These are full-time positions supporting the Internal and Family Medicine Clinics.The CMA’s work the following schedule:Mon-Fri 07:30am-04:30 pm with a 1-hour breakThis is a great opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those who serve our country!Responsibilities:Provide lab results per established clinic protocolProvide patient education- Self- management education as directedInitiate and explain patient referral process- based on established guidelinesAttend daily huddleAssist RN in determining & addressing patient needs prior to visit: medication renewals, required lab and radiology test, preventive measures, specific gender standby, etc.Schedule follow-up appointments.Prepare Clinic xe2x80x93 environment, equipment, and stock exam rooms.Document vital signs, medications, allergies, tobacco and alcohol status, pain assessment, conduct needs assessment.Ensure labs, radiology, and consult results are available for provider.Complete forms (school physicals, DME requests, handicap decal forms, etc.)Briefly present patient findings to provider.Reinforce provider and patient plan of care.Validate patient understandingProvide Care Coordination if neededVenesco LLC, is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
