Job Summary Oncology practice seeking a medical assistant to be a vital part of the patient care team. Responsibilities and Duties Patient Care Room Patient, Prep, review H&P, perform Vitals, document in EHR system Enhance patient relations providing vital communications and information Labs, Procedures, Tests Ordered: Fill out all requisition forms and process appointments Rx: Phone, fax, electronically submit all new and refill prescriptions Complete assigned tasks in EHR system from providers Support Physicians in patient care. Assist in Minor Procedures Stock rooms, inventory, and maintain clinical area Must have Remarkable customer service skills Other Duties: Scan: H&P, MRI, lab, and all test results in patient chart Schedule Appointments Call No Shows and Cancellations to reschedule. Insurance Verification, Referrals and Prior authorizations Answer phones and triage calls Cover check-in, check-out * Qualifications and Skills *Certified Medical Assistant with at least 1 year experience. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Paid time off Schedule: Monday to Friday Work setting: In-person Work Location: In person
