Job Description:xc2xa0Busy OBGYN practice seeking certified medical assistant for Plano office. This assistant works under the supervision of the physician to provide clinical support and patient care.Responsibilities:*Phone triage to access patient needs when scheduling appointments and tests.*Order lab tests and/or perform phlebotomy.*Clean and stock exam rooms.*Review patient electronic medical records for accuracy and completeness.*Refill prescriptions.*Schedule surgery.*Assist physician in exam room.*Maintain and promote HIPAA and OSHA compliance.*Other assigned duties as needed.Requirements:*Completion of approved medical assistant training program with proof of current certification.*At least 2 years OBGYN clinical experience excluding externship.*Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
