This is a management position working with adults who have developmental disabilities. The work is challenging and fast-paced, but also very rewarding. LPN Job Duties and Responsibilities Collect, track, and maintain client history and records of medications; record any new data Maintain the charting of medication (MAR) Develop care plans for participants Administer medication, including some injections if state certification allows; monitor medication doses and client response Supervise Direct Care Employees and provide with them appropriate tasks and training Provide emotional support to participants and their families/guardians; listen to concerns and feedback Take instruction from and report updates to the Nursing Director Report any unusual or drastic changes in patient behavior/symptoms; seek help from superiors when needed Follow state and federal-mandated standards and procedures Schedule and attend medical and psychiatric appointments Work collaboratively with medical professionals and pharmacies CMA Job Requirements and Qualifications Completed state-approved CMA education program; currently certified liscense Previous clinical and/or healthcare experience Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite; adept at data entry Understanding of healthcare state standards and procedures High level of patience, empathy, and compassion Excellent observation skills with high attention to detail Excellent oral and written communication skills Experience with supervising individuals Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently from direct supervision Mental health experience is a plus Monday – Friday 8:30pm – 5:00pm40 hours a week Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Employee discount Flexible schedule Free parking Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Travel reimbursement Vision insurance Medical specialties: Home Health Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday to Friday On call Work setting: In-person Office Work Location: In person
