We have a position open rooming patients and in the shot room.xc2xa0 As a Medical Assistant, you will be preparing for each patient visit by preparing charts and pulling notes before their arrival, providing routine support alongside other medical staff. You will also be setting up machines and testing equipment, and cleaning instruments and rooms as needed. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, an interest in learning more about a working medical environment, and has previous experience.xc2xa0Responsibilitiesxc2xa0Prepare for the patient visit, including pulling charts and notes, as well as setting up medical equipmentRooming patients and obtaining and entering vital signsxc2xa0Entering information into EMRInjections (ID, SubQ, and IM) for adult and pediatric patientsxc2xa0Getting patient ready for allergy testing, pulmonary testing, nebulizer treatment, and medication administrationxc2xa0Performing FeNO, pulmonary functions test (PFT), peak flow, nasal smear, allergen skin testing, patch testing, oral food/medication challenges, allergen immunotherapy (AIT), oral immunotherapy (OIT), and phlebotomyxc2xa0Shot room specific – Injections (ID, SubQ, and IM) for adult and pediatric patientsShot room specific – wrapping ice packs, pulling and returning vials, printing labels, running reportsQualificationsBLS Certificationxc2xa0Certified Medical Assistant requiredExcellent customer service skillsStrong attention to detail
