Training will be provided at our headquarters to help start you off for success!An ideal candidate has axc2xa0strong interest inxc2xa0mental health, a desire to learn, andxc2xa0a passion forxc2xa0providing excellent patient carexc2xa0in a collaborative, team-focused environment. We are a rapidly growing office and are looking for axc2xa0medical assistantxc2xa0that is interested in utilizing the latest research, technology, and practice guidelines in an effort to achieve wellness for our clientele.xc2xa0Responsibilities:The medical assistant role is a mixture of administrative tasks with a heavy focus in clinical care coordination, fulfilling various requirements in these categories:xc2xa0xc2xa0Coordinating the success of patient care by promptly handling incoming and outgoing client communication, documenting such communication accordingly.xc2xa0Gaining proficiency with the EMR system to improve client experiencexc2xa0Completing prior authorization requests for medicationsxc2xa0Preparing and giving injectable medications to clientsxc2xa0Ordering and managing inventory of sample medications and specialty medicationsxc2xa0Collecting vital signsxc2xa0Administering clinical testing, including UDS panelsxc2xa0andxc2xa0Genesightxc2xa0swabsxc2xa0Communicating with other offices and pharmacies regarding medications and other aspects of care coordinationxc2xa0Properly scheduling and rescheduling appointments for clientsxc2xa0Checking out clients by scheduling future appointments and collecting paymentxc2xa0Collaborating with administrative staff and providers as a teamxc2xa0Maintaining our company culture and upholding our company valuesxc2xa0Assist with staffing needs at other iTrust Wellness Group offices as applicableMaintains active certificationxc2xa0xc2xa0All other tasks as assignedxc2xa0Requirements:xc2xa0High school diploma or equivalent. xc2xa0Must be a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant as required by state laws.
