Certified Medical Assistant / Registered Medical Assistant Busy Pediatric Practice is looking for a CMA or RMA with 3 years+ experience in a medical office. Shifts are open Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. Must also be able work Saturday mornings 8:45M to 11:45AM on a 3 to 4 week rotation. We are looking for an individual who delivers compassionate care and maintains attention to detail in an active environment. Essential functions include but are not limited to the following: Provide direct assistance to physicians and nurse practitioner. Greet patients, take vital signs, and confirm purpose of visit. Administer medications and immunizations. Complete clinical documentation of patient history, examinations, and vaccine records. Prepare and stock patient exam rooms. Prepare laboratory specimens and perform basic laboratory tests on the premises. Check supplies, place orders and verify delivery. Support the practice in a team environment. Backup Front Office Check In and Check Out Procedures Qualifications and Experience MUST Include: Current Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant certification. 3 years + experience in busy clinic or healthcare setting. Pediatrics a plus. Must have a consistent work history. Must be detailed and accurate. Computer experience in Electronic Medical Records. Ability to be flexible with workdays periodically, which includes rotating Saturdays. Must be reliable and have reliable transportation.
