Accounting Manager – Remote

If you answered yes, then we want to talk to you about being our Accountant!The Accountant is responsible for a 360 approach to actively participating in all areas of accounting including accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, balance sheet account reconciliations, all aspects of cost accounting, and month-end closing & factoring.Job Responsibilities:xc2xb7 Deep knowledge of SAP Business Onexc2xb7 Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including complex formula building, pivot tables and vlookups requiredxc2xb7 Prepare and/or review data, reports, and appropriate audit trail for GAAP presentations of income statements, balance sheets, statements of cash flow and other focused reportsxc2xb7 Improve on monthly procedures related to month-end closexc2xb7 KPI development and reporting for managementxc2xb7 Conduct internal audits to assure assets and liabilities are protected and properly statedxc2xb7 Ensure compliance with federal, state and international income, sales, property, payroll and other tax regulations and licensesxc2xb7 Create and maintain budgetsxc2xb7 Provide accounting and bookkeeping supportxc2xb7 Process accounts payable and receivablesxc2xb7 Prepare and maintain all accounting documents and records.xc2xb7 Process bank deposits, general ledger postings and statementsxc2xb7 Reconcile accounts in a timely mannerxc2xb7 Daily entering of financial transactions into SAP Business Onexc2xb7 Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepanciesxc2xb7 Collection efforts on past due paymentsxc2xb7 Weekly accounting report management and cash flow analysis.xc2xb7 Process Invoicesxc2xb7 Prepare sales and other financial reports.Skills:Bachelors degree in Accounting or FinanceMBA and/or CMA4+ years in manufacturing accounting in a controller or manager roleStrong written and verbal communication skills, a team leader and an eye for process improvementDeadline and detail-orientedStrong leadership qualitiesStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsStrong knowledge of Excel and PowerPointStrong experience with ERP software (SAP Business One preferred)Very high attention to detail, good organizational skills, reacts well to time pressure and is motivated to learn all aspects of the manufacturing operationExtraordinary work ethic and ability and willingness to put in the hours required to drive quality work to completionxc2xa0**NO HIRING AGENTSExperience level:4+ years required as an accounting manager in manufacturing accountingSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental pay types:Bonus opportunities
