We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Accountant to join our finance team. As an Accountant at SSC, you will play a critical role in maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.xc2xa0Responsibilities:xc2xa0Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries and financial statements.Perform monthly and year-end financial closings, reconciliations, and reporting.Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making.Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently and accurately.Monitor and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and opportunities for improvement.Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support business initiatives.Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting regulations and company policies.Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation as required.Continuously improve accounting processes and systems for increased efficiency and accuracy.Stay updated with industry trends and changes in accounting standards.xc2xa0Requirements:xc2xa0Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a relevant role.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards.Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office suite.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.xc2xa0Preferred Qualifications:xc2xa0CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) certification.Experience in Budget accounting.Knowledge of Great Plains program.Previous experience in financial analysis and forecasting.
