OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare providers in outpatient and urgent care settings, contributing to the delivery of quality patient care. Duties- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining medical records- Take patient vital signs and record medical history- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations- Conduct basic laboratory tests and administer medications as directed- Utilize X-Ray equipment and coding systems as needed- Provide support in a variety of medical specialties including geriatrics, physiology, and anatomy- Work in a hospital or outpatient setting, adapting to the needs of each environment Skills- Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge- Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center or urgent care facility is beneficial- Familiarity with electronic health record systems- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with patients and colleagues- Knowledge of coding procedures and medical billing practices If you are a dedicated Medical Assistant looking to make a positive impact on patient care in a dynamic healthcare setting, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
