Travel Certified Medical Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and organized Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our healthcare team in Twin Falls, ID. As a CMA, you will assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with patient care, perform clinical and administrative tasks, and ensure that our patients receive the highest quality care in a timely and professional manner. Key Responsibilities: Take and record patient vitals (blood pressure, temperature, weight, etc.). Prepare patients for examinations and assist healthcare providers during procedures. Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians. Perform routine lab tests, specimen collection, and prepare samples for analysis. Document patient medical histories and maintain accurate medical records. Schedule patient appointments and maintain appointment calendars. Answer patient inquiries and provide general information regarding medical procedures. Ensure patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines at all times. Maintain clean and well-organized examination rooms and medical equipment. Perform general office duties such as answering phones, filing, and processing insurance information. Qualifications: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification (required). High school diploma or equivalent (required). Completion of a Medical Assistant program from an accredited institution (required). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required). Experience in a clinical setting is preferred, but not required. Knowledge of medical terminology and office practices. Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
